Really like the products condensed size excellent camera views but we're in 2024 there's no reason for me to need a hard wire kit to have a camera on when the car is not running it's unbelievable. –

The watch came as brand new, in a sealed box. Some of the reviews for different sellers had had issues with this. The charge lasts for about 2-3 days, with GPS, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi connected, and most of the apps running. If you turn “power saving” on the watch charge “should” last 5 days, so, I feel the 2-3 days is sufficient. I love the sleep monitoring, one of the features I bought it for. I bought the LTE version, and should have checked with my carrier (Consumer Cellular) who said they could only do LTE for watches that have a SIM card slot, and then it would be another device. So we have yet to use the LTE, but the wi-fi lets the watch work as a phone for that “007 spy feel”, but we must have our phones nearby. We will be searching for another carrier to get the LTE feature.
The reason for a 4 star review instead of a 5 is this: there are no watch faces for left-handed people wearing the watch on their right hand. I wanted to turn the watch “upside-down” and have the buttons facing towards my fingers, as they do when you wear the watch on the left wrist for righties.
Otherwise GREAT watch for the money!

The Active 2 is sleek and stylish and comfortable. The LTE version offers ability to use basic smartphone features from the watch directly without having to have it tethered to my smartphone so I can leave the phone at home while going for a walk or jog or in the car or locker while doing other workouts. That is a godsend.
It activated just fine through Verizon and it linked up easily with my Samsung S21 plus through the Galaxy Wearables app. I hear these watches work best with a Samsung phone for best functionality.
The phone is fast and responsive to inputs and while I haven’t owned it long yet, it can easily last well over a day on a single charge. I basically upgraded from a Samsung Gear Fit2 and the interface is familiar to me, so the OS is basically an evolution, which is nice so the learning curve is reduced.
It is lightweight and has low profile buttons and no thick surrounding bezel make it unobtrusive for general every day use and especially nice for working out.
There is one glaring flaw with this watch, however. That is the paltry 4 GB of “storage”, of which with a clean, new OS, only about 1.3GB is usable. That may have been sufficient for a basic smartwatch from four or five years ago, and on my Gear Fit2, with its 4GB of storage, it had over 2.5GB of usable storage for music. But for a top end smartwatch with LTE capability, having only 1.3GB of actual usable storage is laughable.
You can free up a little bit of space by deleting watch faces, and maybe a handful of apps, although most are pretty useful and don’t use much space to begin with, otherwise there’s no way to gain more storage. With the available space you might be able to store 150 songs at best, but that leaves no room for adding apps or other options in the future. You shouldn’t have to be storage restricted on a device like this and juggle music constantly on and off the device. Plus, just hope future OS updates don’t make the installation size larger reducing usable storage even more.
It does support Spotify streaming, and if you’re a Spotify user that is a good feature especially if you have a decent data plan. But otherwise you will be quite limited in the number songs you can store locally on the phone. I use a lot of ripped live concert albums which isn’t readily available on Spotify, and not about to add $120/year subscription on top of an already $120/year add-on for adding my watch to my data plan.
Overall it is a very nice watch. Just for a top end smartwatch in 2021 the 4GB storage almost makes it unusable. I am considering the Galaxy Watch 3 instead because it comes with 8GB RAM and otherwise same specs. I just prefer the sleeker look of the Active 2.

Works well. I had my last watch for 8 years before the back came off. It has a different choice of faces than my last one but has features my other one didn’t have such as displaying the number of steps I take each day and the weather on the watch face.

I use this watch primarily for time, Spotify,
Pay, calendar, a golf app, email, texts and tracking steps. It works great for what I want. Other apps it has which I use are the weather, pulse, music, picture gallery, ECG – which is little more than a toy for me but still neat and more. The battery lasts a little over 3 days for me. I don’t wear it to bed to track my sleep.
Overall worth the price for me.

I had Fitbit for awhile. All the Fitbit I had would stop after 1 year and a day. I had one of their 250.00 models and again a year and a day.
Samsung Galaxy watches, last forever, well not forever or I would not have had to buy this one. My wife destroys watches and this one lasted her 3 years. Me? I can normally get 5 years out of them, which is awesome. Just bought her 3rd or 4th one, and I am a hero, but in reality Samsung Galaxy watches are the hero of this story. Apps galore, long lasting battery, I recently was up for almost 48 hours driving cross country, this watch stayed with me, and durability cannot be beat. Samsung Galaxy 4, 5 or most likely 6’s as well, enjoy your time with them then buy another when needed, you will not be disappointed.
Done –
This watch is advertised as able to numberSync to your mobile. It will not sync. AT&T tried with 3 sim cards, two weeks and said they have consistently had problems. If they were able to finally sync, most fell off within months. AT&T said they were under the impression that the Galaxy 2 watch was not to be marketed as being able to sync.
Seller would not refund full price since it was opened. Tell me how I would know it was defective without trying to activate it.
After multiple complaints to Amazon, I was finally refunded by Amazon not the seller.

I got this watch mainly to see if it would help me with work while in the field. The ability to see who’s calling or texting and being able to respond without taking my phone out of my pocket has been useful.
The battery will last all day when I remember to charge it at night. The app has done what I needed with an easy to follow user interface however in hindsight I wish I would’ve researched operating systems because this one does not support any Google apps and I previously was not using any Samsung apps nor do I really want to. That’s on me though not Samsung or the product so still give it 5 stars.

Got this watch on black Friday and it definitely an amazing watch. I have had a Ticwatch before and it was okay, but they just have 4G LTE for Verizon and it was too big.
This Samsung watch is amazing and works with any android phone not only with Samsung galaxy. I have T-Mobile and it works great. The battery is also great and goes the full day. It is also water proof what makes it even better if you want to wash your hands or take a shower wearing it.
